We have been growing organically here at Hardwick Hill in the beautiful Herefordshire countrside for the last 14 years .

We have been certified with the Soil Association since 1996. Our Producer Certificate is G2141 and our 'on site packing' Certificate is AGO2141

Our ethos is to produce the best seasonal fruit and vegetables that we can. Not being able to grow all of the produce we need, at the times of year which we want them, we also source the choicest local produce from a number of local growers, so that we can offer a year round choice of the best available.

We are at the Ledbury Markets in Herefordshire on Tuesday's and Saturday's and also at the Teme Valley Market at the Talbot Hotel, Knightwick, Worcestershire on the second Sunday of the month from 11.00am and of course at our farmshop which is open Wed - Sat from 10.00am to 5.00pm.

We've just had this through from the Soil Association

Show your support for a GM-free Britain
A new Early Day Motion (EDM) has been tabled in the House of Commons by the Conservative Front Bench and MPs from all parties, calling for the choice of people who want GM-free food to be protected. They have voiced concern over the lack of robust rules to prevent GM crops contaminating non-GM crops and are also calling for tighter labelling for GM foods, including food produced from GM-fed animals. The EDM has been put forward by Conservative Shadow Minister for Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Jim Paice MP and many MPs have already signed it to express their support – you can find their names and the full text of the EDM below.

Get involved!
If you agree with them, then please email your MP and ask them to sign EDM number 48 to show their support for keeping our food GM-free. Please explain why you want them to do that briefly and in your own words. Visit PIMS to find out if you MP has signed the EDM. If your MP has already signed the EDM, please email them to thank them, and urge them to get more MPs to sign. Go to UpMyStreet to find your MP's email address.

Early Day Motion (EDM 48) 15 November 2006
"That this House understands the public concern caused by the development of genetically modified organisms; notes with concern that proper husbandry guidelines to prevent cross-contamination are still lacking in this country; believes that consumers have the right to choose non-GM foods and that all foods containing GM material, or that come from livestock fed on GM, should be clearly labelled as such; further notes that it is scientifically established that the presence of GM can be traced down to, or close to, 0.1 per cent. and believes that this should be the trigger point for GM labelling; and calls on the Government to ban any commercial planting of GM crops until or unless the science shows that this would be safe for people and the environment, and until or unless issues of liability and crop segregation are resolved."

Many thanks to all of you who asked Gordon Brown 'to Wake Up!' to the benefits of organic food and farming, by feeding him an organic breakfast. It is still not to late to join in if you haven't already done so - we'll be reporting the number of hits to the Prime Minister - open this link to play and email it on to your friends and colleagues:
